We will make a wonderfully embellished mannequin / dress form that can also serve as a pincushion. This event is FREE for members and a great way to use up a few smaller items from your stash, get your creative juices flowing, and decorate your sewing area! Supplies to bring:

• 1 Fat Quarter or scrap of fabric about the same size, 28” x 22”
• Chop stick or similar item for pushing stuffing into the mannequin / dress form
• Small piece of felt (3” by 4”)
• Candle stick or narrow vase – check out options at the dollar store or Goodwill
• Hot glue gun with glue sticks
• Sewing machine & basic supplies – scissors, pins, needles, thread, etc.
• Trims, buttons & baubles for decoration – circumference of the pincushion, approx. 12”
• Mini Christmas ornament or large bead – you may wish to bring your own; see note below under Provided Supplies

Provided Supplies:

• Small piece of foam board or cardboard (3” by 4”)
• Mini Christmas ornament or large bead available on a first come first serve basis: matte gold, glitter gold, matte red, glitter red, matte silver and shiny silver mini ornaments
