Brookfield NG: Fabrigami

Sara will be showing us how to fold fabric like origami. We’ll be creating a kimono and possibly another two items. RSVP to Sara by Wednesday Aug 5th.
Prep one (or more) pieces of fabric 4”x12.” Stiffen the fabric with starch or “melt” some wash a way stabilizer and use that liquid instead of the starch. If using fabric an iron is helpful with the creasing, but not necessary. Cardstock if you would like to mount the finished Kimono as a greeting card.
Alternatively, if you would like to use paper only and don’t have paper long enough you can use a shorter piece of paper. The
design needs a 3:1 ratio, so you could use a piece of paper 3”x9” or if you would like it larger it can be 5”x15”
